  • Terrell LaCour

    CEO, Founder

    Terrell is the CEO and Founder of I Validate Myself. She is a former social worker. Through that she has worked with adults with developmental disabilities and children/adults who have been abused and neglected. She is passionate about helping others be the best they can be regardless of their conditions (i.e. sexual orientation, differently abled, financial disadvantage, race, weight, anyone looked down upon). Terrell wants people to do better for themselves, encourages people to believe in themselves and want more for themselves. “If we can help people, the goal is for them to in turn help others as well.”

    A little about her- She loves hiking, going to the beach, cooking and wellness.

  • Jerrell LaCour

    Co-Founder

    Jerrell LaCour is from New Roads, Louisiana. She has a Master Degree in Project Management. She is excited to be a part of I Validate Myself and it’s message-to educate and help people feel proud of who they are regardless of their situation. She’s honored and proud of her awesome family.

    A little about her- She enjoys hiking, reading and traveling.

  • Gabriel Swinney

    Co-Founder

    Gabriel Swinney is an Administrative Assistant & Musical Director with Bethel Christian Assembly in Fayetteville, NC. Gabriel’s experiences with cultural diversity enhances the leadership’s platform and stimulates a positive way of thinking towards individual and corporate growth.

    Gabriel works closely with his parents in ministry to maintain a diversity of sound and culture in the body of Christ. His passions are extensive within the music & visual arts, yet his heart is to hear, and melodically minister to, the hearts of the people.

    A graduate of Fayetteville State University (FSU) (HBCU), Gabriel received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and holds an Associate Degree in Business Administration from the Joseph School of Business (Chicago).

    His work with Independent Artists has influenced his own unique musical style, leading to several national award nominations under collaborative works.

    Gabriel seeks to engage influential decision-makers and thought-provoked leaders, being open to challenges, conversations, and an exchange of ideas that will allow, and promote, our communities to flourish within the perspective of the whole-man.

    Very reserved, by nature, Gabriel loves being multi-faceted, learning new things to forever be a blessing in life. His goal is to build an uplifted legacy, carried on by his family and children, and to please God in Kingdom building of the church and the community.
